THE QUEST  PAINTINGS

Funded in part by a 2014 Individual Artist grant from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events (DCASE), this painting series was inspired by the Hero's Journey (monomyth) theories of Joseph Campbell. Each image in the series depicts a moment in the journey—as interpreted through my own visual vocabulary—and is, in part, autobiographical.
